Friendly seal

For children, taking medication and using a medical device can be quite stressful. Sami is shaped like a seal and will attract your child, “breaking the ice” and making nebulising more fun. The Tuckle the Turtle mask (with turtle print) will make your home look like a zoo. All this is specially designed for children! The bottom of Sami the Seal is weighted and has anti slip for extra stability. After use, you can store the device safely in the yellow carrying bag with a seal print.

Fast and efficient drug delivery

Sami the Seal comes with a SideStream Nebuliser kit, including a mouthpiece and a tubing. The reliable compressor ensures an efficient drug or saline solution delivery. Minuscule particles of aerosols are deposited in your child’s respiratory tract, via the SideStream nebuliser. A treatment only takes 6 to 8 minutes on average.¹ How does it work? Sami the Seal pushes air through the tubing, while additional air is aspirated through the top of the nebuliser. An aerosol is thus produced.

Nebulising through the mouthpiece or Tuckle the Turtle mask

You can easily connect the supplied mouthpiece or the Tuckle the Turtle mask to the nebuliser. This mask is made of very flexible and soft material. It will absolutely fit the facial contours of your child. Special ventilation prevents the aerosol from reaching the eyes. Are you wondering whether your child should nebulise through the mouthpiece or the mask? It really depends on his/her specific needs. Last but not least, we’d like to emphasize the importance of a good hygiene. It is highly recommended to clean the SideStream nebuliser on a regular basis. Please find specific cleaning instructions in the manual.
