For whom is the Salter Labs PRO2ELITE suitable?

The PRO2ELITE is suitable for everybody who wants to check three essential parameters on an oxygen concentrator: oxygen purity, volume and output pressure.

Why the PRO2ELITE?

The PRO2 Check Elite indicator by Salter Labs uses ultrasonic technology to check the proper functioning of an oxygen concentrator. This allows the indicator to perform very fast measurements and eliminates the need for calibration.

Thanks to the 3-in-1 function it is not necessary to hook up any other equipment to the oxygen concentrator.

How does it workt?

Switch on the oxygen concentrator and leave it running long enough according to the manufacturers guidelines before starting the measurement. It is recommended to set the concentrator to at least 2 LPM. If a humidifier is connected it needs to be removed for a more accurate reading and to prevent moisture damage to the indicator.

Connect the PRO2 Check Elite indicator to the output of the oxygen concentrator using the included oxygen tubing. By pressure the on/off button once the measured oxygen concentration is displayed. To measure the flow, simply press the Flow button. The indicator’s screen will now display the volume in litres per minute (in tenths of a litre).

The output pressure is measured through a second connector on the indicator. Place the oxygen tubing on the right connector and press the Pressure button. You will now see the pressure (displayed in tenths) in PSI (Pounds per Square Inch) or kPa (Kilopascal).
