It’s a big advantage to use waterless humidification with the ResMed AirMini Auto CPAP. This way you don't have to take bottles of distilled water with you to your holiday destination. HumidX Plus is a kind of tablet that you can easily place between the mask connector and the AirMini tube.

When exhaling through the CPAP mask, the condenser humidifier captures heat and moisture. The warm and moist air then finds its way back through the mask. This process is called ‘Heat and Moisture Exchange’ (HME). The HumidX Plus waterless humidifier is recommended for dry environments and at high altitude. This makes it ideal for use on the plane.

How to replace the HumidX Plus Condenser Humidifier

Each HumidX Plus condenser humidifier can be used for up to 30 nights before you need to replace it. You can replace it as follows:

1. Disconnect the mask connector from the AirMini CPAP tube.
2. Place the HumidX Plus tablet gray side down in the AirMini CPAP tube.
3. Reattach the mask connector to the CPAP tube by connecting both ends.
