For whom is the Summit Oxygen Silicone nasal cannula suitable?

Mainly for oxygen users who are allergic to plasticisers, PVC or just don’t like the smell of nasal cannulas that are made of PVC. A silicone nasal cannula is recommended for oxygen therapy during the cold winter months, because the material also remains soft in cold weather. The nasal cannula can be used with stationary and portable oxygen concentrators that provide up to a 5 liters of oxygen per minute (LPM). It can be combined perfectly with the Summit Oxygen silicone extension tube of 12 meters.

Odorless and always soft

The Summit Oxygen silicone nasal cannula is odorless and kink free, contrary to PVC nasal cannulas. Some oxygen users are allergic to PVC or do not like its smell. In that case this Summit Oxygen nasal cannula offers a perfect solution! The soft material gives you a pleasant feeling on your ears and cheeks. You can easily cut the two "nasal prongs" to any length you wish. Silicone nasal cannulas are always soft, even in cold weather. The material retains its softness at temperatures below -40 degrees Celsius.

We do recommend boiling it in sterile water: at least once every 2 weeks (5 to 10 minutes at a time). Is your nasal cannula a bit dusty? Simply wipe it off with a damp cloth. Use a little bit of mild soap. Your cannula is ready for use again!
